Direct TV is fast becoming popular in our society. It is known for it's high definition resolution thus making your movie watching enjoyable. It's also fun to watch sports in directv, especially with Pacman's fight. I'm sure most residents in the United States used this media in watching his game.

No worries! When I reach New York sometime soon, I'll purchased the Direct TV in New York. I think that would be a good investment in helping me get rid of my boredom and homesickness. That would be a great help since I am fond of watching movies.

Company Tour in Cebu

It was a memorable and fun interactive way of learning when our class had our company tour in Cebu City. This is the first time I traveled without my family and it was fun! Not because there wasn't any curfew but because our whole class was in it. We visited some IT companies in the city. Had some brief orientation about their company and their IT system. It was very inspiring and motivating learning from these tour. I soon would want to be an IT expert!

Aside from that, of course strolling within the city was one of the highlights of our tour. We visited some tourist spots like the Magellan's Shrine, Sto. Nino Basilica and the Taoist Temple. I only heard these from my sister and now I actually stepped foot on those places! It's really fun to be a student!

Oftentimes, I accompany my mom in submitting our business requirements in some local government agencies. I witnessed how the people flocked in the lines, some even tried to cheat their lines even there are stanchions around in hope to finish it quickly. That's one reason I hate going to government offices. We all wished to have a better crowd control.

Crowd control helps people stay in line properly in offices, concerts and other public events that needs to control the population in order to maintain a peaceful environment and make the work more easier and efficiently. Stanchions are one of these such as velvet ropes and priority numbers. While barricades is mostly used in the public outside a building like traffic and security. Having all these used properly, businesses will be done smoothly and everyone will be safe.

One Memorable Retreat

Just last week, we had our retreat in Digos City, which is an hour away from home. The place was solemn and very close to nature. Of course we were there to reflect and to have a solemn retreat. Though there are times, during our vacant time, that we spend it by gathering together and just fooled around. The result of that was a music video made by one of our classmates. I think it's fun and it showed our class' camaraderie and closeness. Hope you'll like it too.

24th Kadayawan Festival

Every year Davao City is celebrating it's Kadayawan Festival as a thanksgiving for all the bountiful harvests and blessing our city has received. And this year, we just celebrated it's 24th year. People all flocked in the city and the city streets were filled with people as lots of events and guests were in town.

Traffic was heavy to areas where there are events held but good thing there are a number of alternative routes to choose from.

Usually my family and I just stayed at home every festival to avoid crowded places but this time we decided to roam around the city to let our helper who is not from Davao take a glimpse of how Davao City celebrates it's Kadayawan.

After a number of sleepless nights and absences from my other classes. At long last, we managed to finished our group's paper. It was tedious and tiring...i mean exhausting (it makes more sense) to work on it. Stress built up within our group and among ourselves too.

Good thing, we managed to submit it on time and right now, we are waiting for our defense schedule. Hope we all could receive a passing score, or if possible a high score from it. Hope we could defend it well together smartly and consistently.

Dark Knight Mania

You might have read a number of blogs stating how great a movie Dark Knight is. I guess they had already given you the idea how amazing it was! Especially Heath as the Joker. Outstanding job, very creepy but hilarious in some ways.

I had fun watching it myself. The cinema was filled with movie goers and it was dark literally. Hehe. It was a long movie but it was worth your time and money. Two face's face looked real and gross. Haha. And yeah, I wonder why the law enforcers didn't thought of removing Joker's makeup to reveal his true identity. Aren't they curious who he is?

Relief

At last the lump was gone! Was able to go back to school and attend my classes. That abscess was really a pain and I'm glad it's now gone. Hope I wouldn't have it again. *Finger crossed.

Been very busy with school as you might wanna know, I've been absent for days from class due to that lump and now that I'm finally back on track, it's coincidentally the examination week! That means I have to exert more effort in catching up with our lessons and so on. Geez!

I'm trying to refrain from playing online games this week to give more concentration to my studies but it seems like it's hard to do. Well, it is indeed hard to resist temptation. *Sweat

The Pain That I'm Going Through

The lump I have in my left armpit is still here and I still feel the pain. Been absent for three consecutive days from class due to this. For now, I'm on antibiotics to help get rid of this. Too much discomfort I am feeling right now and I'm very cautious of my left side. Guarding it from the touch of anyone. Hehe.

Haven't attended class this day due to a swollen armpit. I mean, there's something in my armpit, a swollen red lump that is painful which causes my minimal range of motion. I don't know where I got it, I first thought it was just a plain pimple but it grew bigger than a pimple, and the pain radiates on the sides of my chest. It is uncomfortable to move my arm or even my body because of the pain that I am feeling. Pain killers help stop the pain temporarily. Hope this thing disappears ASAP.

Excitement that Turned Out To Be A Disappointment

Was very excited that Wednesday is approaching and when it does, I came to realized that what I was excited about will turn out to be a disappointment. Okay, here's the catch. I've mentioned in my post here how excited I was in watching "The Dark Knight", and I was expecting that it will be shown this week as it's supposedly the next picture. But what I failed to look was the showing date. Yes it was posted as the next picture in the cinema that I frequent to, but the playing date would be this July 18. Arrghh...gotta wait for another week still.

Kid's Stuffs

Having a toddler in the house makes our household livelier. It really makes a difference in the atmosphere if you have a kid around. My nephew is one curious kid, well, every kid in his age does. But what we liked about him is that he loves to read. He's a two year old kid who doesn't know how to read yet nor pronounce the words correctly, though you can see he likes to read books because he spent some time scanning my books with animal pictures on it. He doesn't tear it's pages which is a good thing.

Since my books are not ideal for his age, I wanted to buy some books appropriate for him. Nursery rhymes would I guess be a nice book to start with and I surfed online to canvass some nice children's books. There I landed on shopwiki.com. I am no expert when it comes to kids stuff, good thing is that they have buying guide where you could choose on what to buy for your kids thus you won't be spending your money for nothing.

Haven't updated this blog that much. Kinda busy with school and some extra curricular activities. Though just recently I bonded with some friends and watched a movie, "Wanted". God it was awesome! I mean Angelina Jolie is really a hot momma! I think the movie was great and we all had fun watching it. I hope I could get to watch "Hancock" and "Dark Knight" as soon as possible.

Another thing is, aside from blogging, I spend my spare time playing ragnarok on a private server and just this week I donated 10 USD to it's server in exchange for a godly items. Wew! Now, I'm stronger than before and can kill in a flash. Haha.

It was my fun moments to play Sim's house before. Because through it, I am able to build a house of my own. Decorate it and furnished it the way I wanted to. With furnishings, it is my fondness to place lamps and lamp shades in the house, watching how the house gets lighten up with these lamps fascinates me.

With the ongoing renovation of our house, I am imagining how our house would look like after. Of course I don't want it to look gloomy with poor lightning that is why I was surfing the net for trendy and affordable floor lamps. Crap Connection

It is my habit to turn on the computer after I get out of bed in the morning. This time I didn’t have any internet connection. This is the longest time I haven’t had any connection and I called my network provider to inform them of this problem. The agent was on the process of checking my account in their database but according to her, she cannot do so because it seems that they’re computer’s not functioning well and instead gave me a report number for trace up and wait for 24 hours for any feedback from them. My blogging’s been delayed. *Sigh.

It has been 1,300 years since the Pevensies left and a lot of changes had happened in Narnia to their surprise. The Golden Age of Narnia has become extinct and it has now been conquered by the Telmarines under their merciless ruler, King Miraz.

Prince Caspian, the rightful heir to the throne of his father, is hiding in the woods with the Narnians, as his uncle, King Miraz, is plotting to kill him when the latter's wife gave birth to a son.

With the help of the Narnians and the Kings and Queens of Narnia, Prince Caspian embarked to an adventure, finding Aslan, battling with the Telmarines and restoring the magic and glory of the land.

Personally, I think this is better than the first one regardless of reading the book. Based on the film itself, the director had done a great work. Watching the battle scenes, it seems to me I am watching Warcraft, if you used to play the game you'll know what I'm talking about, or Lord of the Rings perhaps.

Well, I guess it's up for you to decide then.

It's the school's opening once again and time to meet new friends and old ones. I was lucky to enroll in the same class I had last school year so there's no pressure to adjust with the environment. I am excited to see my old pals again because school time for me is hanging out with these guys once again. I kinda missed that last summer.

It's been only a while when we started summer. But just now, I realized, summer's already running out. Only a few more days left, and we'll be back in the busy boring school. But the brighter side, I'd soon be able to see my friends again. We'll hang out at internet cafes spending some time with DOTA. But anyway, I'd still love to think I hate going back to school even though it means having back my regular allowance.
